"Clubs for Kids"

"Clubs for Kids" is a day where Gladstan Golf Course give a free clinic and free golf clubs to kids of all ages. The clinic is taught by Club Pro Tracy Zobel with the help of Assistant Pro Dustin Carter and the Gladstan staff.

Thee sessions of Junior Golf Camp ($40 for a three day camp) will be held in June, July and August.

Kids and parents begin to assemble on the driving range.
	The clubs are ready to be given away.
The clubs are separated by size so each kid gets clubs that fit.
	Every kid gets a ticket to a raffle for two complete sets of Top Flite clubs.
Tracy begins a short beginning golf clinic.
	The fundamentals of how clubs work are explained.
A demonstation of proper setup and swing is given.
	The famous "watermelon shot" is made to explain why you never hit a golf ball toward a person or get in front of a hitter. (The kids love this! Tracy does it every golf camp and "Clubs for Kids" day.)
This young lady won the 1st set of Top Flite Clubs.
	This young man won the 2nd set of Top Flite clubs. (He will probably have to grow some to use them! - Kids of all ages are welcome!
The big kids pick their own clubs (and go to the back of the line to get another one until the clubs are gone.)
	Parents help the younger kids pick a couple of clubs to fit them.
Girl's golf is a big deal. The high schools now have girl's golf teams. Tracy teaches Ladies and Girls Beginning Golf classes.
